Aboriginal Children’s Books
This year, Makonsag is developing activities around Aboriginal books, stories, and legends. These stories will shape our child-guided curriculum and we’re looking for family and community involvement.
Below is a list of books that we will share with children and their families. As the year unfolds, we plan to add materials to this site to help families and other child care practitioners share the stories with children.
Please help us by sharing this page with families and others who may want to purchase Aboriginal children’s books. Makonsag is a participant in the Amazon.com.ca, Inc. Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.ca.
We welcome feedback on these books and suggestions for additional materials.
